Criteria:
Most of the Hall of Fame athletes in individual sports such as swimming, track and field or wrestling medaled in their events at the provincial high school championships, and continued to excel after graduation at the college or national team level. Many of the athletes from team sports such as soccer, basketball, or volleyball led their Belmont teams to top five finishes in the province and were selected as MVP's or first team all stars at the BC championships. Some were excellent players on Belmont teams that didn't qualify for provincial championships and later became standout performers with their university or professional teams. Others excelled at sports that were not offered at that time in high school, such as lacrosse, cycling, football, or hockey.
